A Tribute to My Mom

      For this project I decided to paint a portrait of my 

      mom as a tribute to her. She is a dancer who has

      danced in Carnaval for many years along with other

      family members. I took an image of her in high contrast 

      and transferred it to the paper. I used the India ink to

      paint the image. For the background I used the elements

      and other themes to represent the different years of 

      Carnaval my mom has danced in.
